A classic Lake District day out from Glenridding, taking in Striding Edge, the summit of Helvellyn, then on to Lower Man and White Side before dropping back on the pony track. It is a hard route with big views, a bit of exposure, and one of the best summit lunches in the Lakes. Bog factor is low too, with dry, solid ground for most of the walk.

Hard Skiddaw outing from Keswick, starting by crossing the dual carriageway via the bridge, climbing first to Latrigg, then on to Skiddaw Little Man and the summit, before descending via Lonscale Fell. Lunch at the top.
