Pendle Hill

Pendle Hill sits above Pendle Valley in East Lancashire and is one of those proper landmarks you can see from miles around. It’s a broad, grassy rise with rocky edges and a summit plateau that gives you big views on a clear day.

The hill has a long history too, tied up with the Pendle witch trials and the stories people still tell around the area. It’s also a popular spot for walkers because it’s close to home, feels wild once you’re on the slopes, and the routes to the top vary from quick climbs to longer day walks.
