Work is ongoing on Scout Moor Wind Farm. One of the turbines has been damaged and another is undergoing some repair.
Debris has been left on the ground in the affected area, and warning signs are in place advising you to keep away. I'd recommend staying well clear of the turbine.
If you're following my Waugh's Well hike then you'll want to make a left before hitting the turbine.
It's quite scary to realise I've been walking underneath this turbine for months and not knowing it could have dropped on my head at any time!
